What is WebhookVault?

WebhookVault is a developer tool that lets you capture, inspect, and replay webhooks. It provides persistent URLs that you can use as webhook endpoints for services like Stripe, PayPal, GitHub, and more.

How does webhook replay work?

Replay works directly from your browser. When you click "Replay", your browser sends the captured webhook request to a target URL you specify (e.g., localhost:3000). This means you can replay webhooks to your local development server without needing tunnels like ngrok.

Do I need to sign up?

Yes, a free account is required so we can guarantee unique, persistent webhook URLs tied to you. Signing up is quick and gives you access to your own dashboard where you can manage your endpoints and view request history.

How long is webhook data stored?

On the free plan, webhook data is retained for 7 days. The upcoming Pro plan will offer 30 days of data retention.

Is my webhook data secure?

We take security seriously. However, WebhookVault is a debugging tool and we recommend not sending sensitive production data (real API keys, personal information) through the service. Use it for development and testing purposes.

Can I use WebhookVault with any webhook provider?

Yes! WebhookVault accepts all HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH, etc.) and works with any service that sends webhooks, including Stripe, PayPal, GitHub, Shopify, Twilio, and more.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using WebhookVault ("the Service"), operated by FreelyIT, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

WebhookVault provides webhook debugging and inspection tools that allow developers to capture, inspect, and replay HTTP webhook requests. The Service provides unique endpoint URLs that receive and log incoming HTTP requests for debugging purposes.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

Use the Service to transmit malicious content or malware
Use the Service to collect or store sensitive personal information of third parties
Attempt to disrupt or overload the Service infrastructure
Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations
Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

5. Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data sent to your webhook endpoints. We store this data temporarily to provide the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights over your webhook data. Data is automatically deleted after the retention period of your plan tier.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreelyIT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
